These tasks will enable students to participate in fun and engaging activities involving mime, voice projection, and body language to build a basis for performance on stage. Students learn the fundamentals of blocking, mime, stage conventions, how to rehearse in an effective manner, and how to reflect on their own work. There is an inclusion of improvisation skills and an analysis of an improvisation sketch to determine the skills used. Students will reflect and evaluate how they and others from different cultures, times and places communicate meaning and intent through drama. |
