ContentStudents investigate the relationship between outdoor activities and natural environments. They complete three experiences in natural environments related to planning, group management, personal growth, risk management, and minimal-impact strategies. Students develop an understanding of environments and the impact of human actions and decisions. This subject allows students to experience personal growth and develop social and teamwork skills. They will also reflect on their relationship with and connection to nature. |

Additional InformationA subject levy of $375 is payable before the first camp/excursion. Camps and excursions have moderate to high physiological demands. Students will require a good level of physical fitness to complete the course's practical components successfully. |
