Content

Through the Wool4School National Competition, students learn about olive production in Australia, cattle husbandry and handling in preparation for the Royal Adelaide Show, alpaca fleece classing, and the design of wool outfits.  

Assessment

Tasks may include:

  • Careers in Agriculture task
  • Factors affecting meat tenderness practical (literacy task)
  • Alpaca production and fleece classing (numeracy task)
  • Wool4school National competition
