Pastoral Care Worker

The role of the  Pastoral Care Worker at Mount Barker High School is unique in many ways. They deal pastorally with the requests of students and staff regularly and involve families when appropriate.  They work closely with the Wellbeing Coach and Youth Worker at the school and have the flexibility to help teachers within the classroom setting as well as on excursions and camps.

This school is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) through the National School Chaplaincy and Student Welfare Program (NSCSWP) for a school chaplaincy service by employing a Pastoral Care Worker.
